The visual appeal of cotton candy champagne cocktails is sure to be a show-stopper. Simply pouring your favorite bubbles over the sweet, photogenic puffs will do the trick, but if you want to really wow the crowd, we recommend Olive and Tate’s recipe (below) – complete with gilded cherries!

Ingredients – 5 servings
1 Bottle dry champagne or sparkling wine
1-2oz Cotton Candy (fresh spun or store-bought)
Cherries (one per glass)
Gold food paint

Instructions
Blot cherries with a paper towel to remove excess liquid. Using a paintbrush or Q-Tip, gently paint cherries with gold food paint (can be found on Amazon or in any craft store). Set aside. Wait until just before guests arrive to make the cotton candy or open the packaging. Cotton Candy has a tendency to deflate in open air. Place cotton candy in glasses, top with a gilded cherry. As you serve each guest, pour chilled champagne over the cotton candy. The cotton candy will melt, turning the drink a sweet pink with a swirl of gold from the cherry!

Ingredients – 3 servings
1 bottle sweet red wine (I use Muscadine)
3 cups frozen mixed berries
¼-½ cup powdered sugar
Toppings – fresh berries and mint

Instructions
Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour mixture into ice cube trays. Freeze (cubes will have a soft freeze). Place desired amount of frozen wine cubes into the blender and blend.
